Good work so far, I'd appreciate if you put all the pieces together as one deviation. ;)

Also, think of 17 syllables as your absolute limit, meaning using less than 17 syllables is fine, but avoid going over 17. Ideally, shoot for 12-14 syllables, but basically go for a minimum necessary.
