I know this feeling, sometimes when there is so much aggressive verbal arguing both in front and not in front of the kids. 20 years of staying together because of the kids was not worth it. It emotionally damaged me so much and my children. Divorce sometimes is for the best, to keep ones sanity.

Thanks...I appreciate your comments and enjoyed your poems. Sadly couples all too often stay together in doomed marriages for the sake of the children never realizing the added harm such arrangements cause.
