Cruel Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is cruel
To folks on the street
They get to eat gruel
While you have your feast

You fill up your belly
From God's Bountiful
You sit front of telly
Football, plentiful

The man on the street
Eats beans from a can
And he you don't greet
Your breeze is his fan

Sit tight in your home
Snug bug in your rug
Remember what's known
Your grave has been dug

Tonight when you're sleeping
Safe warm in your bed
The homeless are creeping
And wishing you dead

Come next Thanksgiving
Your next family feast
Try simple forgiving
From greatest to least
